➺Emotional
Having IBS affects your emotional state in more ways than one. And your emotions affect your IBS. But do you know exactly what emotions are? How they affect the gut-brain connection? Or where each emotion lives in the body? In this step you will discover all this. And how to use this information to reduce your stress and relieve IBS.
➺Thoughts
We all have thoughts and beliefs about our symptoms, other people, and ourselves, that can be unhelpful. These often developed in early life. Investigating these can help you to discover the root cause of your IBS symptoms. Knowing this allows us to address those thoughts to change how you feel now.
➺Actions
You will learn about the numerous habits that you have developed that keep your IBS symptoms going. Through my individualised techniques, you will adjust these habits to be more helpful and healthy, without depending on medication or restricting your diet.
➺Love and loss
There’s a lot of loss involved in having IBS; social life, career prospects, intimacy, freedom. I will help you to process those losses and create a plan for future success with more balance and without IBS.
What I think is especially important is that I have not just been given tools to 'cope', I have been shown a process and have slowly learnt and experienced it. This isn't really something you can 'lose' once you understand it. I am now more resilient and able to tackle day to day with more joy and less stress.
My CPPS and IBS symptoms are now under control. I can go and do what I want without worrying about them. They are not totally gone yet, but I have many days gone by without any symptoms whatsoever. I am experiencing fewer and fewer symptoms with every passing week and have no doubt I can completely resolve them with a little more time. I don't experience any pain whatsoever anymore if I get symptoms.
Overall, I feel like I have control over my mind and body again!
Thanks!
Matthew Dickson
Worry that not only affects your physical body, but also creates anxiety affecting your mental state…
The resulting stress creates a build up of cortisol in the body and as a result, weakens the effect that serotonin has on the brain. Meaning you are more susceptible to depression and low mood.
AND it reduces the endorphins that are used for pain suppression, meaning more visceral hypersensitivity leading to a reduced pain threshold and more intense pain.
Also, long term high levels of cortisol can increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and other chronic diseases.

I wasn’t expecting to get to the very heart of the matter and learn to deal with it safely. It helped to change the way I think about things.
Tina had a way to put me at ease and made me feel safe so I could say what I really wanted to say without the fear of hurting or offending anyone. She was very easy to talk to and had a way of getting things out of you without you realising it.
If anyone is considering therapy, I’d say “Do it!” It’s really that simple.
It feels so good to feel free. I am in a very good place now.

You like feeling needed, but hate being relied on. You fear letting them down. Being discovered as not good enough, or as weak. You are always the one they come to in a crisis, but who do you go to? Where is your support? Who is there for you?
You know that there is more to your IBS symptoms. You're fed-up with being told by medical professionals that there is nothing they can do. Or worse, "it's just in your head".
You can cope when one thing goes wrong, but when two or more areas of your life are affected, you find it difficult to cope. You start to feel overwhelmed. And the IBS starts to flare up.
You have struggled for too long. Let me share some simple strategies with you that can help you to deal with the demands, and enable you to take control of your IBS, so you can live with freedom.
Discovering scientifically backed mind-body techniques can ensure you have the skills to reset the vagal nerve, rewire the brain, and regulate the gut to achieve long-term IBS remission.
I'm an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, ready to help people like you free yourself from your pain and end your frustrations so you can finally start living life to its fullest and thriving in your business.
You’re not alone, you know?
For years, I suffered with IBS, anxiety, fibromyalgia, depression, and severe migraines...
Until I learned to overcome these conditions and start taking control of my body and life.
I was able to go from working part-time for the NHS and struggling on my entrepreneurial journey to going full force with my business, knowing “I can do this now!” My pain no longer limited me.
Now, I help others to release their pain by dealing with their physical symptoms at a psychological level - something very few people are looking at.
My biggest motivation is to help people like you go from feeling anxious, alone and misunderstood to safe, empowered, and free from discomfort, so you can live the life you deserve.
